1. Definitions and Conditions of Acceptance
“Maharashtra Cab” refers to the website and service provider. “User”, “you”, or “customer” refers to any user of the website who wishes to make a reservation for a taxi. When you make a reservation or make use of our service, you acknowledge the fact that you’re at the age of 18 and are legally competent to sign a legally binding agreement, and you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Services provided by
- All reservations are subject to availability.
- When you make your reservation at the time of booking, you must supply accurate pickup and drop-off places, dates/times for travel and any other details required.
- The estimates of fare at the time of booking are considered to be final and are based on the base price. Any additional charges, like tolls or parking fees, state taxes and entry charges, and permits (where applicable) are your responsibility, unless specified otherwise.
- Our company has the option to alter costs if tax rates or levies change, and you will have to pay.
3. Booking & Payment
Suggested text: If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
- Refund requests must be made as soon as possible. The amount of the cancellation charge will be contingent on how long in advance the reservation is cancelled. (E.g., early cancellations are refundable, while late cancellations may result in a charge.)
- If a taxi is not cancelled due to our own reasons (for instance, because of the inability to make it), we will either refund the amount that was paid or provide another alternative.
- If you are a “no-show” (i.e., you do not show up at the location of pick-up at the time scheduled and fail to notify us within the specified period), the entire fare could be charged.
5. Use of Service – Rules & Conduct
- You must have an acceptable photo ID as well as, if necessary, an official driver’s license (for Self-Drive services). In some cases, you may not be allowed to board in the event that a valid ID isn’t provided.
- The vehicle you are provided with remains in the ownership of Maharashtra Cab, and you do not have title, rights or even a stake in the vehicle.
- You agree to be responsible for your ride (no songs that are loud or slurring, no misconduct, and no unlawful requests for drivers). Any breach of the rules or conduct could result in the termination of your ride and liability for the cost of repairs.
- It is not recommended to use the service for unauthorised commercial use unless specifically permitted.
6. Liability & Disclaimers
- While we endeavour to offer safe, punctual and comfortable transportation, traffic, road conditions, weather and other external influences outside our control can influence the service we provide. We cannot be held responsible for any disruption, delay or loss that results from the occurrence of such incidents.
- We do not take responsibility for the loss or damage to personal items left within the vehicle. Travel entirely at the risk of your personal safety.
7. Modifications and Changes to Terms
We may amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. All changes will become effective as soon as they are posted on our website. You are responsible for reading the Terms before making a reservation. The continued usage of the service after the changes will signify acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. The governing law and Dispute resolution
These Terms will be legally governed by the law of India. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the services will be exclusively the responsibility of the courts in Maharashtra.
